According to the previous years’ practise, between 2 November to 30 November 2022 there is a possibility to submit individual plans concerning vineyard restructure support. This popular among vinegrowers support has increased from EUR 34 million to EUR 50 million in the period of 2019-2023.
The cost of inputs underlying support has significantly increased over the past years. In order to enforce market prices, the cost tables underlying support were updated including the prices of 2022.
Besides actualizing the costs the degree of support intensity also increases. If in the individual plan the area covered by the measure corresponds to the geographical indication of the restructuring plan, the intensity of the support increases from 50 to 60 percent. In case the area covered by the measure in the individual plan does not comply with any restructuring plans, the support intensity increases from previous 40 to 50 percent.
More good news for the vinegrowers is that the new regulation resulting from the changes of the Common Agricultural Policy, valid from 2024, does not contain any significant changes in relation to grapevine planting. Individual plans underlying support remain to be submitted for three years, as in previous years, between 2 November and 30 November.
